February 3rd was Troy's 35th b-day. I got up early, like I did last year, to decorate the house with streamers, banners and balloons. After the birthday boy rolled out of bed, I made him breakfast and we spent the day skiing. And then the real birthday fun began. We went to dinner at his favorite Indian place and I surprised him with center court, 5th row tickets for that evening's Jazz game.
"Are you kidding me?" Troy exclaimed. "This is the best present ever!" I knew he'd be excited, but I can honestly say I've never seen him that giddy. Troy wanted to soak up every minute possible in his courtside seats so we arrived at the stadium as soon as the doors open.

And it wouldn't be a birthday without cake. I'll have you all know, Troy insisted on keeping the decorations up all week. He really is a kid at heart. ;)

Happy Birthday Troy! I love everything you did for him, and what an awesome present. You two are really great for each other!! By the way, tell Troy his present is in "the mail."
