Meet Tyson
It didn't take much for me to persuade Troy to become foster parents. In fact, I hadn't even finished stating the idea before he whole-heartedly agreed. I began doing volunteer work with Friends of Animals several months ago and after seeing the need for foster owners, Tyson entered our lives. Tyson is a four-year-old Boxer. His massive head teeters on his malnourished frame. He was found abandoned and dying in a snow bank. In the rehabilitative animal shelter, he lost part of his ear in a scuffle with another dog (sound familiar?). So this sweet boy will be part of the Madsen crew for awhile. If Park City didn't have a three dog maximum law, we would adopt him, but for now, we are showering him with love, walks and treats until he finds his permanent home.

International 2010: Sweden & Denmark
When we got married, Troy and I vowed to take at least one trip outside of the continental USA every year and by golly, I am going to make sure he holds to his word. :) We limited it down to three choices for 2010: Sweden, Australia or Korea. Upon further research, we found a conference in Denmark a day after the Swedish conference and with round trip tickets from Stockholm to Copenhagen for just $50, why not do both? We will fly into Sweden around October 8th and stay until the 15th. Then we'll hop on a quick one-hour flight for about a week of fun in Denmark. Do I really have to say I am excited for this trip? I am going to be a world traveler in no time!

Homecoming
I am pleased to announce that after a long, two-year wait, my little brother has arrived safely home from Australia. That's the best Christmas present a gal could ask for!
