Meet Tyson

It didn't take much for me to persuade Troy to become foster parents. In fact, I hadn't even finished stating the idea before he whole-heartedly agreed. I began doing volunteer work with Friends of Animals several months ago and after seeing the need for foster owners, Tyson entered our lives. Tyson is a four-year-old Boxer. His massive head teeters on his malnourished frame. He was found abandoned and dying in a snow bank. In the rehabilitative animal shelter, he lost part of his ear in a scuffle with another dog (sound familiar?). So this sweet boy will be part of the Madsen crew for awhile. If Park City didn't have a three dog maximum law, we would adopt him, but for now, we are showering him with love, walks and treats until he finds his permanent home.

oh laura, he is sooooo cute. that is so sweet of you guys. i love how nice you and troy are. you are a great wife for troy, he needed someone as nice as him. anyways, i hope i get to meet tyson, and he gets fattened up. i'm sure he is loving life!
ps i remember when troy visited us in hawaii, there was a malnourished pit bull living near bens home so troy bought him a large bag of food, and that dog was never happier. i feed him until we left, but i still always think of that poor dog and troys thoughtful gesture. he really is such a thoughtful person. you guys are great.

That's awesome Laura. I don't even like dogs that much and this story brought tears to my eyes. You two are awesome!!! What great examples.
