Animal Rescue 5K Results

The Ching Farm Animal Rescue  held their first annual 5K last Saturday at Liberty Park. This was one of the most informal runs I have ever attended, but also one of the most fun. At 8:00 am, the handful of runners gathered behind the start line draw on the sidewalk with chalk. In lieu of a tradition bib, each participant had a picture of animal currently at the sanctuary with a small yellow number on the bottom right corner. Since it was held in a park, we didn't have to worry about traffic, which is fantastic. My time was typical (30 minutes), but if anyone is looking for a fun, no-stress 5K, this is the race for you! I know I will definitely run this again next year.
