Job

That's right- I got the job! Yay! I was a little discouraged when I heard the company had received over 75 applications for the position, but I figured I'd give it my best and went for an interview last week. Thankfully, they loved me and last night I got the call that I start on Monday!

I will be teaching fitness classes for children ages 2-12 at various preschools and elementary schools in SLC and Park City. I will also be coaching softball and soccer this summer in Park City. I absolutely love working with children so I am ecstatic about this position. The company also teaches adult fitness classes and I was asked if I'd consider taking on some aerobic or pilates classes in Park City. Of course I said yes! It's about time I get some use out of my certifications!

Well I am quite excited. I love to teach and I know this will give me some great story ideas for my writing. I'm glad my 8 years of babysitting, 1 year as a live-in nanny and work in a daycare helped me land the job. I didn't think those past work experiences would ever come in handy. :)

Congrats! That's awesome. I don't think I would know how to coach soccer. Troy would be a good source on this though.

Thanks you two! I'm excited to start teaching again. I was hesitant about teaching soccer since I've only played for fun, but since the team is 3-4 year olds, I think all I have to say is keep your hands off the ball and aim for the goal. :)
